The waiting list
I only collect data when you join the waiting list using the form on the site.
- Purpose
- sending you a message when the Little Marcus audio collection starts, and messages about a new story and the book
- Legal basis
- your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR
- What is stored
- your email address, the page language, the sign-up date, the consent version and text, and a hash of your IP address
- How long
- until you leave the waiting list, or until the waiting list is closed after the collection starts and the book comes out, whichever comes first
- Recipients
- the hosting provider zenbox, whose server holds the waiting list file
The IP hash is a string calculated from your address and a secret code stored on the server. The address can't be read back from it. It's used only to limit automated sign-ups from a single connection.
Giving your email is voluntary. Without it I can't add you to the waiting list.
Your rights
- access to your data and a copy of it,
- correction of your data,
- deletion of your data,
- withdrawing consent at any time, without affecting anything that happened before,
- a complaint to the Polish data protection authority, the President of UODO (uodo.gov.pl).
To use any of these rights or to leave the waiting list, one email to kontakt@malymarek.pl is enough. There is no automatic unsubscribe link.
I don't do profiling or make automated decisions based on your data.
Browser storage
The site saves just one thing in your browser's storage (localStorage): the language you picked, PL or EN, so the right version opens next time. I don't use cookies.
Outside services
- Google Fonts
- The fonts load from Google's servers. When the page opens, your IP address reaches Google.
- Recordings on this site
- The songs and the audio of “The Tablet” sit on the same server as the page. Playing them sends no data to anyone but the hosting provider.
